After several days of hiking up and down Steep Hill in Lincoln, I was thrilled to finally make the decision to try out Go Gelato! Go Gelato stands out along the Strait. The storefront has white walls complimented a sky blue door and sign. At night in passing visitors will see the TV screen lighting up the storefront windows, taunting people passing by images of all that Go Gelato has to offer.
When you walk into the store, you are greeted by two kind ladies styled in retro serving attire from head to toe.
At Go Gelato, you can choose from 24 flavors of gelato and sorbetti, along with milkshakes, speciality ice cream sundaes, waffles, and Italian coffee. With these many options to pick from, it made it difficult for me to pick what to indulge in.
After several minutes of going back in forth between flavors, deciding which one to pick, I finally went with the raspberry gelato. And boy, was it good! The raspberry gelato surprised me as it had a hint of a raspberry cheesecake after taste. Best of all, there were real raspberries in it! Lets just say, those two scoops of the my raspberry gelato paired up with their signature heart shape thin biscuit served with every dessert, only lasted several minutes.
Go Gelato was one of my favorite spots in Lincoln, England and I recommend this destination for any sweet tooth lovers visiting Lincoln.
